Statement of Purpose
1. To Provide a Learning Experience: We stress participation not competition. Exhibitors are shown how and get to practice before competing. Parents and teachers are encouraged to work alongside our youth. School projects and classroom activities are encouraged to participate. Each department is sponsored by an adult organization desiring to help youth.
2. Every Youth is Welcome: No geographical boundaries, no club membership or animal ownership is required. Borrow what is necessary, but come.
3. All Service Contract Will Benefit Our Area’s Youth: Labor contracts, food service and commercial space will either be provided by youth organizations or provide products and services applicable to youth.
4. Any Youth Organization May Participate: Any organized youth group may request booth space at no charge for information and recruitment purposes.
5. We believe that fair participation encourages family unity, community pride, and cooperative competition. Our youth need the support and encouragement of adults. Fairs provide an established venue to honor and promote youth activities.
